General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Wait for the injection to act for a couple of more days. The doctor may suggest some physiotherapy for controlling residual pain or may start with medicines to control pain due to impingement of nerve supplying painful buttock.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
