What Does This LFT Result While On Crestor Indicate?
I was diagnosed with a fatty liver over 20 years ago. My enzymes are up and down. A couple of years ago I went off Lipitor. My enzymes went back to normal. The last 3 years I have been on Crestor. I just got my blood work back. I am going off Crestor but wanted to see what else it could be. Alkaline Phosphate 161,AST 65, ALT 140. Any thoughts

The present enzyme status is almost normal and doesn’t indicates any liver related illnesses. As of now treatment is required. You can continue Crestor or any other statins. Avoid hepatotoxic substances like alcohol and other substances. Do six monthly ultrasound and liver function test.
