Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My CT chest with contrast reports Patchy ground glass opacity involving the dependent portions of the lung bases, likely represent atelectasis versus scar. I was told by my doctor my results were normal, but found it in my report. I have undiagnosed shortness of breath daily. Is this something I should be concerned about?
My opinion is that there is something wrong in your lung if you are short of breath. Do you have fever in last 10 days? Do you have cough with or without expectoration? You should go for second opinion with above history.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pramod Kokare, General & Family Physician
