Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

The lesion may be a tuberculosis infection or bronchitis or sarcoidosis or malignancy. You need to be confirmed by sputum for microscopy, grams staining or acid fast staining or microscopy of malignant cells.

Bronchoscopic aspiration of secretions, CT guided lung biopsy, etc. are useful. Please consult your physician/ pulmonologist, they will examine for the cause and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
