General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
After looking at the Urine analysis report, the following things can be concluded:
1. Colour and pH is normal.
2. Appearance is hazy and could be due to presence of albumin.
3. Sugar and ketone bodies are absent.
4. Bile salts and bile pigments are absent, which is indicative that jaundice is absent.
5. Presence of occult blood, pus cells and RBCs and few yeast cells indicates that there is some dysfunction of kidneys.
It could be inferred that the child could be in early stage of glomerulonephritis. The report needs to be correlated clinically by consulting Pediatrician.
Wish you all the best.
