What Does The Report Mean?

I have been diagnosed with spongiotic and psoriasiform dermatitis, consistent with a subacute to chronic eczematous dermatitis. I have looked this up but what s confusing me is what the comments say which are there is mold diffuse spongiosis, prominent parakeratosis, psoriasiform epidermal hyperplasia and a superficial perivascular lymphoid infiltrate. Eosinophils are present but rare. What in the world does all this mean???

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The biopsy report is describing the changes that have taken place in the skin.
The diagnosis is that of type of dermatitis.
Dermatitis is inflammation of the skin which causes itching, irritation and thickening of skin.
The management of dermatitis is application of topical ointment to relieve the symptoms of dermatitis and to reduce the thickening.

Thanks and take care
