What Does The Puss Cells In The Below Lab Report Of An Amoebiasis Patient Suggest?

Doc..my child now was suffering amoebiasis and we already took him to the hospital..but when we arrive home..its same maybe the bacteria was still there because he always go to cr 5-6 times a day..he already take his medicine metronidazole now..and he take it for 7 days but when we go to laboratory today i saw the result PUS CELLS 30-40..his RBC-0-2 and cyst 0-3...i would like to ask if this result is not harmful to my child?i need ur answer thanks..

I really appreciate your concern, the given history is suggestive of protozoa infection and it can be well managed with combination or drugs like " Ciprofloxacin with Tinidazole if the child is above 12 years of old, if child have asymptomatic then this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
