What Does The Lines In A HPT Look Like?

My girlfriend took a pregnancy test and two lines showed up but it looks like there permanet marker red. i thought they were suppossed to be light pink. keep in mind. she is crazy and has been doing this to me for a while. does the color mean anything

Before performing a home pregnancy test, the instructions on the kit should be read well and understood. Usually there are two thin uncolored lines which mark the places where the result is to be observed. Once the sample is entered, if the color of the sample turns pink, this is an indication of positive confirmation. The control always turns pink during the test; it is the color of the second line that is important. If in doubt, you can get the serum beta-hCG titre assessment. Hope this helps.
