General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Urine analysis report you have furnished can be interpreted as follows:
1. Colour: Normal.
2. Specific gravity: Value is in normal range.
3. Reaction: Should be acidic but is alkaline.
4. Protein and Sugar should be negative and hence is normal.
5. Transparency is hazy, which needs to be clear normally.
6. Microscopy is showing RBCs, Pus cells and Epithelial cells to be normal, but is stating that few bacteria is seen.
Hence, it is indicative of urinary tract infection but needs to be correlated clinically.
If you are symptomatic, I would suggest to get urine culture and sensitivity test done and consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.,
