What Does The Following Urethral Swab Test Result Indicate?

I had a urethral swab done four days ago, this was the results : GRAM STAIN-: moderate pus cells and gram positive cocci in clusters (++) present. No GNID seen. CULTURE ISOLATE-: Coagulation Negative StaphylococcI isolated. Please, what does all this mean?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be inferred based on the urethral swab culture report you have enclosed.
1. There is moderate amount of pus cells and hence there is an indication of infection of urethra.
2. The bacteria which is infecting is Gram positive coagulase negative Staphylococci.
3. There is no evidence of Gram Negative Intracellular Diplococci (GNID), which indicates that there is no gonorrhea infection.
Kindly consult your doctor with the report for administration of appropriate course of antibiotics to treat the infection.
