What Does The Following Blood Test Report Suggest?

hi. my daughter is 5 years old. she had a fever 3 days ago with 39.3 as highest on the 4th day the fever stop.we had a lab test result . hemoglobin 123, hematocrit .37, wbc count 6.5, segmenters .48, lymphocytes .50 monocytes .02, platelet count 275. she also has a cough & colds. she had a stomach pain.

Your child having mild lymphocytosis in his blood report...
Suggestive toward viral Upper respiratory tract infection.... Like that could be viral bronchitis

Symptomatic management done for that...

Your child work up needed with Auscultation and if needed chest x ray done...

For cough and congestion your child might prescribed decongestant syrup....

For fever paracetamol syrup can be given...

Nasal saline drops can be prescribed

Take care

Consult pediatrician for examination and further work up...
