What Does The Following X-ray Report Suggest?

hello sir last 7 to 10 days my mother suffer from cough and sinus the doctor suggest to take chest x ray the x ray impression was : PATCHY CONSOLIDATION IN BILATERAL PARACARDIAC REGION they have not any fiver. what is the meaning of above symptoms. also please explain us what is treatment of above.

After going through your query I understand your concern.

I would like to tell you that patchy consolidation is an indicative of lung infection ( Pneumonia) that can be bacterial Pneumonia, atypical pneumonia or viral pneumonia etc. that requires further evaluation for proper management.

Course of antibiotics, steroids, nebulization and healthy diet will be choice of treatment according to the symptoms. Kindly consult with a Physican/Pulmonologist for further management.
