Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my wife is 53, and in hospital with pyrexia, She is a CCF patient. An X Ray was taken of her chest and says her cardiac size is enlarged with left ventricular configuration. Aortic unfolding. Hilar prominence may be vascular. Minimal streaky shadowing in the right upper zone may be due to old disease. Mild prominence of basal lung markings. No obvious pleural effusions seen. According to the path lab she most likely has a severe bacterial infection with septic shock
The X-ray is indicative of cardiomegaly which is consistent with the CCF patient. The lab parameters suggest systemic issue with bacterial infection and secondary septic shock. The value of each report must be evaluated in ileu of clinical symptoms and signs for the better management of the patient.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
