Hi my sister has this severe headache and so we went to a GP who suggested we go for a scan and we go a MRI done . The MRI report stats the following multiple ill defined discret hyperintense lesions in bilateral fronto parietal and temporo occipital periventricular and subcortica white matter MRI f/s/o demyelination like multiple scelrosis. What does this mean
MRI brain shows presence of foci of demyelination in brain white matter. Demyelination is suggestive of multiple sclerosis. I suggest you to consult a neurologist for clinical assessment and thus management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri
