What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?

Gud mng I had a severe back pain I have done the MRI. In that diffuse disc bulge with annular tear seen at L4 _L5. Level causing thecal sac indentation and bilateral exit foramen narrowing. And it s there mild disc bulge is seen L5 -S1. Level causing thecal sac indentation

Hello,

Your MRI has identified disc prolapse. Discs are structures like cushions between the vertebra. When prolapse happens it may press on the nerves at the side of the spine or the disc may prolapse anteriorly and press the spine.

In your case, compression of nerve roots is likely but no serious complication on the spine is identified. So, you may have pain that may radiate in your foot but it is not dangerous (even though it may be distressing). Pain killers and physiotherapy is needed to help with the symptoms.
