Sir my child age is 4 year pls see the report and pls advice me In report Fine needle aspirations lright lymph node 2 .0 cm soft yielded puerelent material six smears ware prepared leishmann giemsaana PAP strained FNA smears show a mixed population of lymphoid cells degenerated neutrophils and epitheloid aranulomas in background of amorphous bluish pink material Impression Findind are suggestive of a granulomatous lymphadenitis mostly like tuberculor Pls help me

FNAC is procedure in which from swelling material aspirated with negative pressure to rule out nature of lesion...

Your child have been diagnosed as granulomatous lymphedenitis.. The common cause for it is tuberculosis..

To confirm TB, chest x ray, sputum examination, AFB staining (of aspirated material slide for FNAC) like investigation done

If tuberculosis confirmed then akt needs to be started and taken for six to eight month according to category
