What Does The Following CT Scan Report Suggest?

I got my CT results today. Trying to understand them in non-doctor form. Results say There is disc space narrowing with hypertrophic changes identified at L3-L4. Central canal 8-9 MM. Central stenosis & foraminal stenosis are present at L3-L4-L5, secondary to spondylosis. Degenerative disc changes. Facet arthropathy of L4-L5. I also have 2 six-inch steel pins screwed to my spine, & the report says there is beam-hardening artifact from the hardware. This obscures the lower Thoracic & upper Lumbar region. I am not scheduled to see my doctor for another 2 weeks, and a little concerned about my results.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The CT scan report shows narrowing of the central canal of the spinal cord and degenerative changes secondary to spondylosis. Treatment consists of rest, exercises and anti-inflammatory drugs.

I suggest you consult your orthopedician for clinical assessment and prescription of these drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
