General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

The CT results you have described are almost normal apart from signs of inflammation in your paranasal sinuses(sinusitis).

Let me brief you the findings in detail.
1.Calcifications:
Calcifications are nothing but calcium deposition in the brain and it is quite common in elderly people. It is a normal age related process and nothing abnormal in it.It generally require no treatment unless you have any symptoms like seizure or headache. There is nothing to worry regarding this finding because it is a normal physiological change.
2.Sinusitis:
Sinusitis is the inflammation of your paransal sinuses(air filled cavities in your face) and can cause symptoms like head and nasal obstruction. You can try homeopathy first,If it does not show improvement I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for proper evaluation and treatment.
Treatment is by conservative method by using antibiotics and other drugs,in resistant cases you may require surgical interventions.

Hope this information helps.
Wishing you good health.

Regards.
Dr.Shinas Hussain
