General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear.
The normal blood sugar for an adult is- Fasting blood sugar- 70-110 mg/dl. Post prandial (2 hours after food) blood sugar- 140-180 mg/dl
Do not stop citalopram abruptly unless adviced by the doctor.
Losartan has been given to you for your hypertension
Numbness in the body can arise due to several reasons. One of the reasons can be uncontrolled blood sugar leading to peripheral neuropathy. Check your blood sugars regularly and consult your doctor and take the medications regularly as prescribed. Cut down on sweets. Small meals at frequent intervals is the motto. Do regular exercise atleast half an hour per day.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
