What Does The Below USG Pelvic Examination Report Suggest?

Dear sir Recently i under gone through USG Pelvic following findings has come :-right ovary enlarged 19.00 cc and multiple subcentimeter follicles in hyperrechoic stroma,Left ovary enlarged 27 cc multiple subcentimeter f o l l i c el e s in hyperRechoic stroma.Minimal p o d fluid seen.Impression:- please correlate with clinical and hormonal profile to r/o PCOD.SIR BLOOD AND THYROID REPORT IS NORMAL.PLZ TELL

Hello

Your ultrasound findings may suggest PCOD.It is generally a manageable condition.
PCOD has typical appearance in the form of enlarged ovaries,hyperechoic stroma and peripherally arranged small follicles.
PCOD should be confirmed by clinical correlation and biochemical markers like hormonal assay for PCOD.
PCOD is a curable disease and mostly it is treated by medicines.Surgical intervention is required in very few cases.
