What Does The Ankle MRI Report Indicate?

I am trying to understand my MRI report of my left ankle, can you help me to figure it out, Thank you:) -, it says: examination of the tibiotalar joint demonstrates extensive arthrosis involving the medial portion of the tibiotalor joint with a long osteochondral defect involving the anterior weightbearing surface of the talus measuring 18 mm and posterior weightbearing surface of the supra-adjacent tibia measuring 14 mm. There is associated subchondral bone marrowq edema. There is osteophytic ridging of the anterior aspect of the medial malleolus with associated ridging of the medial talus. There is extensive bone marrow edema and subchondral cyst formation within the second metatarsal. There is mild bone marrow edema and subchondral formation in the dstal aspect of the cuboid. There is joint effusion. Ligaments: The anterior tobiofibular ligament is intact. The talofivular ligament is not identified and is likely chronically torn. The posterior tibiofibular and talofibular ligaments are within normal limits. The calcaneofibular ligament is likely intact. The deltoid ligament is within normal limits. There is mild to moderate thickening of the tibial spring ligament which is intact. Tendons:There is a mild to moderate amount of fluid in the tibialis tendon sheath. The distal posterior tibialis tendon is markedly enlarged withe intrasubtance signal consistent with severe tendinosis. The flexor digitorum lonus and flexor hallucis longus tendons are within normal limits. There is a realative low lying peroneus longus muscle. The peroneus tendons otherwise within normal limits. There is marked soft tissue surrounding the talocalcaneal ligament consistent with sinus Tarsi syndrome. The Achilles tendon and the plantar fascia are within normal limits.

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having degenerative arthritis of ankle joint. It is degenerative disease related to aging. There is also tendinitis of tibial anterior and posterior tendons , it may also be related to degenerative arthritis. Treatment of it is Diacerine and glucosamine.
