fibroid uterus is a non malignant growth in the uterus , it is of three types submucosal, serosal and intramural . fibroid has high vascularity and menorrhagia or polymenorrhea is a common symptom of it . no need to worry . if the bleeding is alarming like severe bleeding and regular drop in HB or severe pain regularly , it should be operated and removed . so what your doctor advised is correct and follow the same orders
