What Does Swelling In The Lower Neck And Above The Collar Bone Indicate?

I have noticed swelling on lower neck and above collar bone on both left and right side. Right is slightly more than left. I had throat infection and taken anti-biotic as suggested by doctor. This happen two times with the gap of 5 days. Now I am speaking almost normal with very slight hoarse voice. Pl advice.

It can be a swollen lymph node developed due to an infection. The inflammation in the nearby region can be due to an infection.

Generally, it will settle by itself. If the lump persists, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
