What Does Swelling In The Abdomen Indicate?

I FRACTURED MY LEFT RIB JUST BELOW MY BREAST (FEMALE). THIS ALL TOOK PLACE LATE SUNDAY EVENING, WENT TO ER MONDAY MORNING TO CONFIRM FRACTURE AND BY MID AFTERNOON ON TUESDAY I HAVE INCREASED SWELLING/BLOATING IN MY ABDOMEN THAT SEEMS TO APPEAR MORE AFTER MOVING AROUND? WHAT COULD THIS MEAN?

Good Evening,
Thanks for given info,According to left rib fracture history,swelling in abdomen,can be complicated such as Fracture of the ribs can cause a variety of intrathoracic and intra-abdominal complications. The CT scan did not show pneumothorax; it suggested a colonic rather than gastric perforation due to a presumed intact and distended stomach and the proximity of rib fractures to this splenic flexure.
