What Does Subcentimeter Cervical Chain Nodes Mean?
My 14 y/o daughter has had a headache for 31 days. This was on the MRI;Nonspecific bilateral level 5, subcentimeter cervical chain nodes. What does it mean? We have had MRI s, CT scans, lots of meds, and NOTHING has worked to take away her pain. HELP!

1.The findings with multiple sub centimetre enlarged lymph nodes is the significant finding in your neck study - could be MRI or CT.
2.The lymph nodal enlargement can be due to any infection / inflammation can be localised or systemic.
3.In this case one has to see the clinical picture and find out the underlying cause.
4.The next thing what one can do if there is no obvious cause - an FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology will be informative.
5.That way the cause of lymph nodal enlargement can be possibly evaluated and treated accordingly.
