What Does Spotting Post Mifepristone Intake Indicate?

I took mifepristone, to terminate my pregancy (7 weeks) the next day I was meant to have the other tablets to finish the process and I changed my mind and I didn t go through with it. The doctor told me that there is no guarantee that the baby would be ok and I had to wait and see what happens. I was given progesterone in pessary format to take 400mg a day to try to stop the abortion pill working. It has been 48 hours since I took the abortion pill, and now I am getting brown and pink spotting with cramps. Is this sign I could miscarry? What are the chances that the baby is ok? Is the first tablet likely to kill the baby within 48 hours?

I have read your description and understand your concern.
Mifepristoneis a medication typically used to bring about an abortion. Since you have taken the first dose, it could have started the process of abortion by its anti-progesterone effect.
However, progesterone, which was supplemented later, might not have been sufficient to prevent the process of abortion. Hence, you could be experiencing spotting along with cramps.
Kindly get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen done at the earliest to know what is the status of your pregnancy and seek medical attention immediately.
Kindly do not neglect as you might land up in complication if you land up in incomplete abortion.
