What Does Raised Skin Growth On Finger Indicate?

I have had this one flesh colored bump in my finger for as long as I can remember. I have treated it with wart remover, which just irritated it. It sometimes swells and becomes sensitive. Clear liquid has come out of it also. It has also bled a few times when I ve knocked it. No idea what it is.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a wart. Consult a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

Once the diagnosis is confirmed you can apply over the counter available preparation like salicylic acid paste for regression. In severe cases, cauterization or excision may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
