What Does Possible Infiltrate Retrocardiac Left Lower Lobe Mean?

hello, I am a 61 year old female . weight 145 , height 5 . i am a non smoker. i had a chest xray this past wednesday which revealed possible infiltrate retrocardiac,left lower lobe. i have had a bronchial type cough for a few months but not constantly. My mother just passed away from lung cancer at age 83. she was a past smoker. email address YYYY@YYYY

I really appreciate your concern, if you are smoker then such symptoms are very likely could be due to chronic bronchitis, it is advisable to stop smoking, infection need to be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care.
