What Does Persistent Pain In The Lower Abdomen Of A 15-year-old Indicate?

My 15 year old daughter has persistent pain in the left side of her lower abdomen. Sometimes it is sharp and limits her movement often it is burning but not sharp. It has been re-occurring for over 18 months now. We have looked and X-rays and done blood tests but nothing has come up. Her pain is real, and I need to figure out what it is and how to help her

It can be diverticulitis like condition of bowel. USG abdomen scan will be more sensitive I detection of underlying etiology. Fiber diet can be taken more. Avoid excess spicy foods. Drink more water. If needed antibiotic course prescribed. Provide history regarding any treatment if Taken. If needed colonoscopy can be done. Consult gastroenterologist for examination.
