What Does Pelvic Pressure After Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Indicate?
I had sex with my husband about 8 wks after my laproscopic hysterectomy. we heard a pop and we both felt it. I had some pain and pelvic pressure with a little bit of bleeding, more like spotting. that was 4 days ago. im back to work now with no bleeding but still feels like I have a little bit of pelvic pressure but no major pain. did I pop a stitch?
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The pop is unlikely due to the opening of the stitch in the vagina, as it would have led to excessive discharge, bleeding and pain. It would be due to dilatation of vagina during intercourse after a long time andpelvic pressure is most likely due to sexual intercourse. I will suggest you to wait for 2-3 days. If the symptoms still persists, then you should consult your treating surgeon for proper examination and treatment accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Regards Dr Deepti Verma OBGYN
