What Does Painful, Swollen Spot On Thigh With Nausea And Congestion Indicate?

My 4 year old has had nausea,low grade fever, cough, congestion and now the has a red spot the size of a quarter on her leg. It is painful to the touch and is swollen under the skin. She as had something like it before when she had a reaction to the flu shot but that was last year.

Its an infection of the skin.
Hence your child is also having fever, may be related to that.
