Hello,

Your symptoms suggestive of acute gastritis or small ulcer in the stomach. For that you need to prescribed one more medication that is rabeprazole like antacid. Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach. Avoid intake of excess spicy foods. If no improvement than USG like further investigation needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
