What Does Pain In The Right Knee Indicate?

While at a family farm over the holiday, I am one of the cooks for 23 of us. I stepped in an awkward position to get something behind a chair on the porch and felt a little pop behind my right knee. Hurt strangely the rest of the day and next. Kind of went away. Today I went for a walk with a friend and it was really hurting again behind same knee. Throbbing pain. Deep in the middle and outsides. Did I tear something? Can t figure it out. Am in decent shape , not overweight. What did I do? Thanks for your help
