What Does Pain In The Ribcage On The Right Side Indicate?
having pain rib area on the right. GB removed 1997. Also have nausea. Was supposed to have endoscopy to check for ulcer but pre-admit denied me as I could not pay at least 50% of deductible. Pain in rib area started day following abd exam by GI Dr. Have had tenderness on the right since GB removed in 97.

You should undergo an ultrasound abdomen if you cannot undergo endoscopy. It may be a common bile duct (CBD) stone pr fatty liver. Avoid fatty foods and sweets. Avoid heavy meals.
