What Does Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Left Side Indicate?
Husband has lower left abdominal pain that goes around to the back. Drinking water usually relieves the pain after a short time. He doesn t have a fever, nausea, or vomiting. Just the pain. Any idea what it could be?? It s been happening off and on for a few months. I m leaning towards dehydration or very small kidney stone.
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
According to history mild gastritis, small ulcer or stone can be the possibility. For gastritis and gastric ulcer treatment Rabeprazole OD for week can be prescribed. If pain constricting type like that of stone than USG scan or X-ray needs to be ruled out of it. According to cause specific treatment given. Consult physician for examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
