Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does Pain In The Legs After A Hip Replacement Surgery Indicate?
I had a hip replacement in 2016 after a severe fall. Since I have had pain in my leg and hip area the doctor ordered an x-ray which resulted in the discovery of a stress fracture in the femur. I do not see an ortho dr until the end of the month and would like to know what to do in the meantime so that I would not further aggravate the condition.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hello,
You should immobilize your leg till you see an Orthopedician. If you send the x-ray, then it will be more helpful in understanding the condition.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nishad BN
