Hi there, my right knee cap gives me a very sharp burning pain only when I bend my knee or kneel down. I can take the top of my finger and gently rub across a vein on my left side. Then I feel the pain on my right side. AlwAys in the same spot. It feels like a vein. When I put pressure on the vein it seems to stop at that spot.

What Does Pain In The Knees Indicate?
Hello, As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
