What Does Pain In The Abdomen And Lower Back Indicate?

I went to the ER this morning with my 15 year old daughter. She woke up this morning with bad pain in her stomach and lower back, she passed out completely for about a minute or so, we rushed her to the ER. She had low blood pressure of 86 over 60 and pulse was 69. She was very pale, eyes rolled back when she passed out. At the hospital they checked her blood sugar which was 89, did a urine test, EKG, and ultrasound. Said it wasn t her appendix so they sent her home. I am still concerned because I do not know what caused this to happen. She is still having pain, she is still cold, and started having diarrea now and her blood pressure now is 93 over 64 any ideas what is wrong wit her or what I should be looking for.

Hello,

Your daughter might be having gastritis. She needs to follow some lifestyle tips
1. Do not eat spicy food
2. Take medications for gastritis- Pantop or Omez or Rantac
3. Take little food at frequent intervals. Breakfast around 8 am, a small snack at 11 am, lunch at 1 pm, a small snack at 4 pm and dinner at 8 pm
4. Drink plenty of water
5. Do not smoke, take alcohol or tobacco and even excess of coffee and tea
6. Do not take much stress. Stress aggravates gastritis
7. Do regular exercise. At least half an hour per day
8. Learn meditation techniques
9. Follow it regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
