What Does Pain Behind The Thighs Indicate?

Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here... I have what I think and have been told I have maybe a herniated disc or a buldgin disc narrowing of the spin. I have pain running down my right side back of my thigh close to my butt , but is spreading. It’s been a month and the pain is unbearable. I pulled a muscle lifting something and went and got x-rays and found out all kinds of stuff was wrong with my back and now it feels like I’m holding up my upper body with a toothpick as my spine

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You have mentioned herniated disk problem that can lead nerve compression and so there might be a pain by it. For neuropathic pain Pregabalin or Gabapentin like medication be helpful. Physiotherapy also advisable. Avoid strenuous work.

If no improvement than surgical treatment needed. Consult spine surgeon for an examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
