Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a friend that has MS and fibromyalga. She is on Lyrica ,ribif, and just recently was put on medication for bladder spasms because she has to void every 20 minutes. Once she is in the bathroom, she has a severe pain that runs from her back and leg down to her foot. Once done she walks a few steps and has to stand and put pressure on the foot for about 10 seconds for the pain to go away. This is an all day thing. Is it possible it is her siatic nerve and would acupuncture help? This has been going on for 5 months
You can try acupressure if you feel better than previously. You can go through MRI, it gives a better diagnosis for you.
You can take Tramadol and Paracetamol combination drugs two times a day for five days. Take rest, do not bend your back while working and also apply hot water bag on the backside.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Purva Patel
