What Does Pain Behind The Knee After An Injury Indicate?

My sister hit me with her knee seven day ago to the left side of my back and it’s been hurting terribly ever since and I can’t sleep on my left side and I can’t bend down to grab something and if i lay down I have difficulties getting up . What can be the problem??

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [orthopedic]and to confirm do an ultrasound.

2)Do physiotherapy and discuss with your doctor about anti-inflammatory medications.

3)If you can not get a result in conservative treatment then discuss with your Doctor about surgical treatments.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Try to strengthening and stability exercises, aerobic conditioning, plyometric exercises.

2)Try to strengthen your hamstrings.

3)Use proper techniques.Technique training along with strengthening of some of the hip muscles can help to reduce this injury.
