What Does Numbness On Side Of Face Indicate?

I have been experiencing numbness to the left side of my face no droopingI thought it was a sinus infection they put me on a z-pack but no release the left side of my nose cheek left upper lip and gums and teeth feel like I have been shot with Novocain I suffer from TMJ and allergies don t know what to think never had this before

Understanding your concern.

Numbness on left side of left could be due to cold temperature, nerve dysfunction or nerve damage. Facial nerve is the nerve which supplies to face and any damage to it can cause numbness of face, paralysis of face as well.

Numbness on left side of face is more serious concern as it could be facial paralysis, a symptom of stroke. It could be bell's palsy but as no drooping of face so chances less.Viral infection can also cause the same.

Well its not a sinus infection, would suggest you to go for its proper diagnosis first and then treatment accordingly as blood thinners, rehab therapies, antiviral drugs, corticosteroids all are treatment options for this.

Would advice you to do daily mouth exercises at least 20-25 min.
