General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be drawn from the urinalysis report you have furnished.
1. pH of 6.0 is normal.
2. Cloudy appearance is suggestive of infection as normal urine is clear and transparent.
3. Specific gravity of 1.030 is slightly towards higher side.
4. Except for RBCs considered to be normal, microscopy is indicating of infection as there are numerous WBCs, many epithelial cells, many mucous threads and abundant bacteria.
This is indicative of 'urinary tract infection'.
You need to get your urine collected in sterile container and get culture and sensitivity test done.
It is a treatable disorder by taking a course of antibiotics, depending on the nature and sensitivity of the organism.
Drink good quantity of water and increase the intake fluids, especially citrus fruit juices till the symptoms subside and you complete the course of antibiotics.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
