What Does My Stool Test Report Indicate?

Hi I m hoping to get some help with some things my children and I are passing in stool. We ve been having stools full compromised of what look like undigested grape halves however after passing these things in live form they appear to be some kind of flat worm or fluke. They range in size from watermelon seeds the white kind in seedless melons to 3/4 of an inch. Inside they have guts a large sesame thing and lots of tiny sesame seeds. Also they have a hard tube at the top and a worm like piece in the bottom middle and the body varies in color from reddish brown to whitish grey. Seems as though there s a few different types but they are very fragile. There are so many and they lay on top of each other dried out but if they sit in water they start to produce a slimy mucus. I don t believe it s possible for stool or mucus casks to have the same shape and internal parts over and over. However I can t seem to get a stool test although full of them to come back with anything other then undigested food matter. It should be noted that I cut out fruit and seeds but still we passed hundreds of these. Any ideas or info would be appreciated thank you!

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

As per your history you seems to have teniasis, it is a worm infection caused by T. Solium if you are a pork eater or T. Saginata if you take beef.

Because your stool examination is suggestive of presence of strobalae or proglotids, this seems to me the Tenia infection.

For more details you need to get your feces exammined by a professional like gastroenterology so that proper diagnosis can be concluded.

There are also good chances of undigested food in case you have Tenia infection, because of habit of taking raw or semi cooked meat there are more than one family members infected by this worm at the same time.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any questions further to be addressed.
