Hello,

Your results show that you have significant disc disease that is impinging upon nerve roots. It is not possible to say whether or not you need surgery without knowing what sort of symptoms you have. For example, if you have weakness or numbness because the nerve roots are compressed, it is unlikely that conservative treatment like physical therapy will take care of this. if you have no nerve damage symptoms then a few months of rehabilitation treatment could be tried. You do not want to avoid surgery if there is a chance of permanent nerve damage. It would be best to talk to a neurosurgeon about the best options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
