General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is a sign of arthritis. The joint cavity is narrowed due to wear and tear associated with arthritis. Drugs like bisphosphonates and calcium tablets will be effective. Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
