What Does My X-ray Report Indicate?

I have some popping in my knee and ankle on occasion. Pain in knee always. X-ray showed very little arthritis and the Dr. Said my knee was tight. He gave me cortisone shot on Friday which relieved some pain but I still have pain and I feel like my knee is going to give out when walking, what could be the problem

Hello
Thank you for trusting HCM

Your suffering from knee osteoarthritic arthritis for that your doctor gave local steroid for it.
Bone friction and swelling in the knee joint makes the knee stiff and less flexible. Knee range of motion can become more limited. A person with moderate to advanced knee osteoarthritis may find it is difficult to straighten your knee. Some people may only experience stiffness in the knee in the morning or after sitting for a long period. Stiffness may or may not be accompanied by swelling.

Steroids act quickly but benefits are short term so better to avoid it.

Please consult your orthopedician he will advice correct treatment for you.
