What Does My Colonoscopy Report Indicate?

I am a 73year old woman.In relatives good d health. Last week I had a Colonoscopy. My MD found that my Colon had twisted. I saw him five years prior with no problems. I cannot have a bowl movement without laxatives. I am gaining weight, my pants are tight. I have had a CAT scan with dye since. I have an appointment June 1st. How does this happen? I have one major medical problem, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Intercestial, since 2003. I am on A OX setting of 1 to 2, 24 hrs. a day, but am active. I bowl on two leagues, work in the yard, and exercise. What will happen to my life? Y

welcome to hcm ..please donot lose hope ..as you have gained weight and constipated one possibility is low thyroid status so i suggest thyroid profile testing ..now twisting of colon is a general term ..it may be intussception or something more ..please if you can share the medical term it will be helpful for us to guide you further ..
