What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?
Hi. I ve recently had some blood tests because of some health problems I ve been having and the prolactine results were high. The doctor told me that I need a medicine called brameston in order to reduce the prolactine levels. The level registered in the exam is 99. The doctor advised me to have one pill every day but he also told me that the pill causes some side effects such as nausea. I don´t know if this medicine is OK or if there another one better. And I also don´t know if I have to take the pill in the morning before or after eat eating. I would appreciate your help a lot.

there are two popular medications to lower the prolactin level bromocriptin and cabergoline.
You were advised the first one.and yes it is a very effective drug even though it has mild side effects you need to have it now..
Take it early in the morning..
Also consult your doctor if you need any mri brain to rule out a microadenoma in pituitary..
