Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have done some blood work recently and i got back some abnormalities in the result. i am 22 years old and i am currently 6 months pregnant. the abnormal results are: hct 34.7 mchc 36.1 rbc 4.03 wbc 12.2 lymphocytes 22 eosinophils 11. what exactly does this mean?
I have gone through your query & appreciate your concern Your blood values show HCT 34.7 , MCHC 36.1 & RBC 4.03 which are all normal. Your white blood count is 12.2 thousand which is slightly high, which indicate some infection in you. However your lymphocytes are slightly low & are 22% Your eosinophils are 11% which are high & indicate some allergic condition. Eosinophils are normally upto 6 %.Eosinophils may be increases in allergic conditions like asthma, hayfever, allergic bronchitis , etc. They are also sometimes increased in parasitic conditions.
Refer to your physician for consultation Don't worry you would be fine Hope this information helps.
